Belonging is something she hadn’t felt in a long time. Logan Creek was the first time that she’d felt anything close to it.
There’s a special place in my heart for Canadian Summer. It was the book that made me fall in love with Kimberly Ann’s writing. I loved Logan Creek and wished that I was there!
Even though I had initially read it back in 2021 and thought I would have forgotten everything, it came back to me as I listened.
I loved that the audiobook was two speakers that didn’t sound monotone. So it was clear to follow who was talking. And that’s coming from someone who gets confused pretty easily!
Although, fair warning, do not listen with kids around or out loud at work. I made the mistake of listening to it on a speaker at an inappropriate time while cleaning up, that I had to run to turn the volume down!
I want to listen to more audiobooks since this experience was great. Since I rarely listen to them. However, there were a few moments when I couldn’t focus, but that’s more on me than anything.
It doesn’t matter how long you’re with someone; if it doesn’t click, you just won’t. Then there are some people who you can instantaneously connect with.
Revisiting Logan Creek is always fun. Whenever there’s something new, I jump at the chance to read it, no matter what. Every time, it’s as if I’m reading it for the first time again. I could remember some moments but wouldn’t be bored or even find something new. I love the characters and can’t wait to read more from Kimberly.
