Xavier felt like he was either going to be my greatest love story, or my most painful heartbreak.
Hunter came to me at the right time. I was in a reading slump, and this got me out of it. Honestly, I wasn’t going to start it because it was late, but I couldn’t sleep, so I thought, ‘might as well, right?‘
I flew right through it since it was fast-paced, and it got me out of my head. Every time I put it down, I wanted to pick it up again immediately, wanting to know what happened next.
Cliffhangers and no HEA are two things I usually don’t enjoy, yet I didn’t mind in this instance. There were several moments when Roman and Ryleigh frustrated me, yet I could relate to Ryleigh to a certain degree. There were a few confusing moments for me, but it was more on my part, and it wasn’t enough that it would’ve ruined my experience.
Compared to V.T. Do’s The Knight and the Princess, which I enjoyed and liked enough, my experience with Hunter surpassed that! I always meant to go back and read the other books in The Entangled Past series but have yet to have the chance. However, Hunter is the first with the King’s Men MC series, and it got me hooked! I can’t wait to continue this series!
