Summary
Lauren Barnes captivated me the first moment I met her.
Her effortless charm drew me in, her smile brought me to my knees, and her beautiful heart captured mine in an instant.
Over the last year I’ve fallen harder for her than I ever thought possible.
Just as I think we’re about to get our happily ever after, everything changes.
The fierce woman I love grows cold, distant, and mean.
She pushes me away and refuses to talk to me as I cling to her for dear life. The last thing I want to do is lose the woman who owns my heart.
But as her pain presses on all my insecurities, I start to wonder if there’s anything left to fight for or if I’ve already lost her.

Review
“I want you to have everything, give you everything. Everything for you.”
I cried and read Everything for You all in one day. I kept coming back to it and didn’t do anything else.
After reading several of Bethany Monaco Smith’s works, I love how they are all connected. Not only that but there are often cameos of characters from different series.
I was going to read Everything for You before I started the first book in the Ida Romance series, Reckless for You. But, boy, was I glad I second-guessed myself and started from the beginning! Seeing the growth and the relationships made it a better experience. Although Everything for You can be read as a standalone, if I had started with that, I think I would feel like I had missed something, and it wouldn’t have been as impactful for me.
After meeting Lauren in Reckless for You, I was curious about Lauren and Todd’s story because Todd was mentioned in the other two books a few times in passing, but we didn’t know anything about him.
I’ll be honest; I was wary at first. The relationship had already progressed, and everything was perfect. And it always felt like a shoe would drop at any moment. And I was right. There were bits, and pieces from the beginning of their relationship sprinkled throughout. So you have all the background and aren’t missing anything important. I understand that logistically, starting from the beginning of their relationship wouldn’t make sense timeline-wise because Everything for You is the third book. With each book, time has passed, but there were some glimpses into the past. I just wished there was more, but that’s my personal preference.
THE EMOTIONS. Everything for You is about dealing with guilt and vulnerability. It may seem like you should be strong and independent; however, true strength is letting people in and showing them your vulnerabilities. Bethany’s characters are relatable. Even when I was frustrated, I could still connect with them. It’s what makes them seem as if they’re real.
Bethany sets up her future works that make you want to read more. Even though there’s a wait, it’s not long until Steph and Mike’s story, Running Back to You, in January.
