“You are worth so much more than the baggage you carry with you-you’re worth everything.”
Finishing Guns and Gags when I did was not a good idea. I cried towards the end and was too emotional to go to sleep. But, like all of Erin Mc Luckie Moya’s works, I had the urge to read it as soon as I could. Erin warned that it would be emotional, and Nicci would have her HEA in the next and final book of the Hellhounds MC series, Knives and Knuckledusters. Usually, I don’t like reading books without a HEA or if it has a cliffhanger. But that rule doesn’t apply here. Many of her books have cliffhangers, and I read them anyways because I love her writing so much. When I see something new from her, I want to read it immediately because I’ve been waiting impatiently since I learned about it. I read everything from her up to this point, and she never disappoints.
Reading from Nicci’s POV was difficult. It took me back to my teenage years since she was 17/18 during Guns and Gags. But, of course, when you’re a teenager, everything is the end of the world.
THE ENDING! I couldn’t. I started tearing up at some point without even realizing it. I was just a mess when I started crying. Whenever I tear up or cry while reading, it doesn’t matter what I believe I would rate it before, it will get bumped up.
I can’t wait for Knives and Knuckledusters.
