Summary
He’ll do anything to have her…including lie.
Charming, deadly, and smart enough to hide it, Christian Harper is a monster dressed in the perfectly tailored suits of a gentleman.
He has little use for morals and even less use for love, but he can’t deny the strange pull he feels toward the woman living just one floor below him.
She’s the object of his darkest desires, the only puzzle he can’t solve. And when the opportunity to get closer to her arises, he breaks his own rules to offer her a deal she can’t refuse.
Every monster has their weakness. She’s his.
His obsession.
His addiction.
His only exception.

Sweet, shy, and introverted despite her social media fame, Stella Alonso is a romantic who keeps her heart in a cage.

But when a threat from her past drives her into the arms—and house—of the most dangerous man she’s ever met, she’s tempted to let herself feel something for the first time in a long time.
Because despite Christian’s cold nature, he makes her feel everything when she’s with him.
Passionate.
Protected.
Truly wanted.
Theirs is a love twisted with secrets and tainted by lies…and when the truths are finally revealed, they could shatter everything.

Review
If my thoughts were chaos, she was my anchor. They always went back to her.
An end of an era. Twisted Lies is the conclusion of the Twisted series. Each book is about a different couple from the friend group. It’s challenging to decide which is my favorite book, favorite couple, favorite girl, or favorite boyfriend. However, each book gets better and better.
I can resonate with each girl because I can see a piece of myself in them. There are aspects that I can relate to from each girl. I thought Twisted Games was my favorite from the series, but Twisted Lies topped it.
From the beginning of the series with Twisted Lies, you see glimpses of each girl from the friend group that makes you want to know more about them. I like how Ana can weave storylines where all of them are connected in some way, even if they are all very different people.
I think out of all the girls, I’m the most like Stella, or at least that’s what the quiz told me. After reading all of the books, it holds true that Stella is the one I’m most similar to. How Ana portrayed Stella, and her anxiety was realistic and relatable.
The Twisted series is now one of my favorite series, and I wouldn’t mind rereading it whenever time permits. However, maybe reading the series back to back will help me decide better.
Usually, I don’t like slow burns, but I didn’t realize it was one until scrolling through reviews quickly; but not enough time to spoil myself. I was too enraptured by the story even to care.
Since I read about Stella and Christian’s meeting in Twisted Hate, I have been intrigued and anticipating Twisted Lies.
All I have to say is:
CHRISTIAN.
Christian’s nickname for Stella.
STELLA AND CHRISTIAN.
EVERYTHING ABOUT TWISTED LIES.
There is probably so much more that I could say, but it would have spoilers, so that’s everything that doesn’t.
I’m glad that the Twisted series put Ana on the map. She deserves it, from Wattpad to self-publishing and now being traditionally published soon. Twisted Lies may be the end of the Twisted series, but it is not the last from Ana Huang. I cannot wait for her new series, Kings of Sin, in October 2022.
