Review

Not going to lie; I was not too fond of Maria or Jordan at the beginning. I understood that the characters had their reasons for being the way they were, but the characters angered me for some reason. There was character development; they learned about themselves and grew. In a sense, I understood Maria. Even if I didn’t like her going into Veritas. She has a facade to protect herself from being hurt. Jordan understood that and saw her for who she was. I couldn’t get into the story until a little bit later. But then there was a turning point that just clicked for me. It went from something that was just okay to something I enjoyed. It was an emotional roller coaster; I was angry, laughing, and crying. I never read anything from A.L. Woods, but after Veritas, I’m open to reading more.

Meet A.L. Woods

A.L. Woods is an author of rollercoaster romances, caffeine aficionado, and collector of Sailor Moon paraphernalia.
