Skylar Martin is more than happy to flee the city, leaving her past and failed engagement behind her. Dyllan Thompson had his life planned out. Unfortunately, Skylar and Dyllan had to grin and bear their discontent towards each other on a trip to Vegas for the bachelor and bachelorette parties. Not only did they wake up in the same bed together, but also with rings on very important fingers. Refusing to divorce, will their rings be enough to hold them together, or is not everyone meant to have a happily ever after?

Ever since finding out about Canadian Spring, I couldn’t wait until I could read it. I have been preparing because I knew it was the last book in the Logan Creek series. The world was something I loved returning to every time. Kimberly Ann creates a world where each couple in the friend group is somehow connected. And even if the couple doesn’t make sense at first, they do complement one another.
Canadian Spring focuses on Dyllan and Skylar. When they met, it didn’t go so well, and they ended up having bad first impressions of each other. A trip to Vegas for their friend’s bachelorette and bachelor parties changed everything. When they woke up, they did not remember getting married, yet they try their best to navigate their marriage because divorce was not on the table. Dyllan and Skylar learned that there is more to the other than they first thought. It seems as if Logan Creek is a place one goes to when they are either running away or towards something.
The nicknames were hilarious. At times I felt like it was overdoing it, but not enough that it would impact how I felt reading. There were a few moments I felt as if they were a bit too judgemental, and it was a little much for me because they had preconceived notions of each other. Their banter was fun to read, and most of the time, I couldn’t help but laugh.
Getting to see the other couples in the series is always fun. I liked being able to see how their relationships panned out.
After falling in love with the Logan Creek series, I cannot wait to read more from Kimberly Ann soon.
