REVIEW
Reading Twisted Love and Twisted Games back to back made me realize that Ana Huang’s works get better each time. I’m not sure if it holds true to all of her works, but at least it does with the Twisted series. The timelines for both overlap for a part of it, so I’m glad that I did read it back to back. That being said, I prefer Bridget and Rhys over Ava and Alex.
Twisted Games is a hate-to-love, forbidden romance, princess and bodyguard story.
Rhys understands Bridget. He’s able to see the real her, beyond what she shows the public. While Bridget was able to knock down all of Rhys defenses and got under his skin. They’re able to be vulnerable to each other. As well as support each other. Bridget and Rhys just understand one another.
All of the angst was worth the slow burn.
I couldn’t put Twisted Games down. Ana hooked me from the dedication: “To all the girls who said fuck Prince Charming, give me a scarred knight.”
I can’t wait for Twisted Hate.
